Darren started as a BMW apprentice and spent 10 years on the workshop floor dealing with real diagnostic challenges. He later moved into technical training and led the Audi UK Master Technician programme, working with hundreds of experienced technicians.

That combination of workshop and training experience shaped Darren's approach to teaching diagnostics: take complex subjects, make them easier to understand, and give technicians a logical process they can confidently apply to real faults.
